About the event
Here's a glimpse of what awaits your little homesteader:
- Morning Chores: Campers will start their day with a sense of accomplishment by helping with age-appropriate chores around the "homestead." This might involve feeding chickens, collecting eggs, weeding the garden, or assisting with composting.
- Hands-on Learning: Each day will feature a new theme, like "Planting Power" or "Marvelous Milkweed." Campers will learn valuable skills through interactive activities, like planting seeds, creating scarecrows, or making butter.
- Critter Connections: Our furry and feathered friends are a big part of the homestead! Campers will have safe and supervised interactions with animals, learning how to care for them and their role in the ecosystem.
- Creative Corner: Arts and crafts take center stage, with projects inspired by the day's theme. Kids might design seed packets, create scarecrow hats, or paint pictures of their favorite farm animals.
- Watermelon Wednesdays (or another seasonal treat): Every Wednesday (or a designated day), campers cool off and celebrate their hard work with a refreshing treat enjoyed together.
